TradeRegimen uses multiple third-party sources. This page identifies its primary market-data and brokerage-integration providers and records the required FRED® and Cboe attributions. Feature-specific disclosures may identify additional sources. Third-party data may be delayed, revised, inaccurate, or unavailable. It is provided for informational and educational use and should not be the sole source for time-sensitive trading decisions.

CBOE Volatility Index: VIX
Chicago Board Options Exchange, CBOE Volatility Index: VIX [VIXCLS], retrieved from FRED, Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis; https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/VIXCLS, accessed September 26, 2026.
The official VIXCLS series notes state: “Copyright, 2016, Chicago Board Options Exchange, Inc. Reprinted with permission.” VIXCLS is a daily close and may publish after the trading session; it is not a real-time volatility quote.
TradeRegimen's current ingestion path retrieves new daily VIX observations from FRED's VIXCLS series. Historical app snapshots may contain VIX values collected through an earlier legacy provider path; their displayed date identifies the market observation date, not the transport provider.
